Psi4Education is the education and outreach program of Psi4, the free, open-source quantum chemistry software package. We offer a suite of free, open-source lab activities, suitable for use in classes across the chemistry curriculum. In this workshop, we intend to introduce the participants to the computational package Psi4, its Python interface and discuss how Psi4 can be used to teach chemical concepts in classes at all levels of the chemistry curriculum. We will preview the many educational resources that we offer through the Psi4Education website, and participants can try out one of our general chemistry or physical chemistry lab activities during the workshop. No prior experience with programming or using Psi4 is required to participate in the workshop. Web-based compute resources will be used to demonstrate how these labs can be implemented with no systems administration overhead at any type of institution.
