On-Site Registration
The registration area is in the Purdue Memorial Union, on the first floor outside the ballrooms. Here you can pick up your badge, Pocket Guide, visitor guides (restaurant information), and complete on-site registration. Hours of operation: Sunday July 31, noon – 6:00 PM; Monday Aug. 1, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM; Tuesday, Aug. 2, 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM; After 2 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday badge pick only, self-serve. Conference Pocket Guide and App
There will be the traditional BCCE Pocket Guide for you to use that has information about the technical program (talks, posters, workshops), plenary speakers, Community Conversations, Birds of a Feather, Exhibits, Code of Conduct, Social Media, and Sponsors. We will also have a BCCE 2022 App for you to use. To Download the BCCE 2022 App, do the following:
- Go to the App store and search for "ACS Meetings".
- Download the ACS Meetings app and open it.
- Choose the BCCE 2022 meeting, click on it.
- You should now be looking at all the BCCE 2022 meeting app! It works similarly to the ACS National Meeting app. You can search by day, author, see all the events, etc.

Please visit our sold-out exhibits area in the North and South Ballrooms at the Purdue Memorial union during the morning coffee break and poster sessions 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch (12:30 – 2:00 PM), and or during our evening receptions from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. Events
Evening Receptions will be held Sunday through Tuesday in the North and South Ballrooms of the Purdue Memorial Union, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday 6:30 – 8:00 PM. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, water, tea, and lemonade and a beer, wine, soft drink cash bar. There are Community Conversations from 6:00 – 7:00 PM each evening upstairs in the Purdue Memorial Union in the West Faculty Lounge. There is also a Fun Run at the beginning of the conference.
What to Bring
Dress at the conference is casual and comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended. It rains in the summer in Indiana – bring an umbrella and a rain jacket that fits into your backpack. Classrooms can feel cold if it is hot and humid outside. Bring splash goggles and closed toed shoes to wear if you signed up for a workshop in CHAS that uses chemicals.
Recommended items: COVID-19 rapid antigen test, N95 mask(s), umbrella, rain jacket, backpack, water bottle, electronic devices, chargers, cords, dongles, USB, sweatshirt/jumper/sweater, splash goggles and closed toed shoes for workshops.
